Weekend Retreat

Let’s Unplug

Next Weekend Retreat: TBA

Unplug with Me

You’ve been STRESSED and OVERWHELMED with the day to day of serving at home and at work.

This through a fucking PANDEMIC.

While your very rights have been on the line.

All the while you’ve been SURVIVING off of INDIVIDUAL self-care while dealing with LONELINESS and isolation.

You’ve been dealing with the SAME struggles as those you serve, while continuing to GIVE.

It’s time to UNPLUG,

let SOMEONE ELSE do the work

while YOU

RECHARGE,

RE-CENTER,

and REJUVENATE

All in an intimate group setting with folx like you.

“Going into the retreat weekend I was carrying the weight of the world, feeling out of balance from caring for others in both my personal and professional life. I found a safe space to just “be”, honoring my journey & feeling supported by all in attendance. I received the gift of connecting with myself, others & nature in a way that was balancing & healing for me.

Sneak Peek

We will arrive at the beautiful hidden gem Osage Forrest of Peace Friday evening and have a welcome reception. We will meet together throughout to reflect and have healing circles. We will have opportunities to learn from each other, walk through some relaxation practices, and spend some time journaling using prompts. You will have your own individual cabin and ALL meals included. You will have lots of free time for hiking, meditating, exploring the grounds, walking the labyrinth, sitting in the Zen garden, or just relaxing in your cabin. We will end Sunday with lunch together before going our separate ways recharged and ready for another chapter.

“The Forest of Peace embraces the sacredness of all life and the gifts of all people, so hosting the retreat for Queer Healers was a natural opening the space of the Forest to be a place of safety, refuge, rest and renewal. Experiencing the participants of the June retreat settle in and with each other with Christa’s guidance was a joy to see. We look forward to the next gathering!”
